Duties and functions of Principal’s office

Duties and functions;

  • Guiding, co-coordinating and determining the educational plans and programmes within limitations set by the education authorities and the Governing Council
  • Planning, organizing, directing and co-coordinating the teaching programmes and activities of staff and students to ensure their proper and harmonizing implementation.
  • Ensuring that issues regarding human resource management adhere to education policies, rules and regulations
  • Ensuring proper planning, budgeting and accountability of the institutional activities and resources
  • Initiating and developing projects for the institution and mobilizing resources for their implementation
  • Supporting and conducting research and reviews necessary for the update of the institutions curriculum
  • Supervising and appraising all the staff and employees of the institution and assessing their performance
  • Preparing progress and summary reports for presentation and submission to the Governing Council and the Ministry of Tourism, Wildlife and Antiquities
  • Establishing and maintaining relationships with other educational and industrial establishments so as to advance the academic and welfare services of the institution
  • Directing activities concerning student admissions, provision of supplies and welfare services
  • Taking minutes of the Governing Council meetings and ensure timely production and circulation
  • Ensuring the timely implementation of Government and Governing Council resolutions
  • Planning and chairing meetings of the institution
  • Conducting any other duties related to the profession
