Duties and functions;
- Guiding, co-coordinating and determining the educational plans and programmes within limitations set by the education authorities and the Governing Council
- Planning, organizing, directing and co-coordinating the teaching programmes and activities of staff and students to ensure their proper and harmonizing implementation.
- Ensuring that issues regarding human resource management adhere to education policies, rules and regulations
- Ensuring proper planning, budgeting and accountability of the institutional activities and resources
- Initiating and developing projects for the institution and mobilizing resources for their implementation
- Supporting and conducting research and reviews necessary for the update of the institutions curriculum
- Supervising and appraising all the staff and employees of the institution and assessing their performance
- Preparing progress and summary reports for presentation and submission to the Governing Council and the Ministry of Tourism, Wildlife and Antiquities
- Establishing and maintaining relationships with other educational and industrial establishments so as to advance the academic and welfare services of the institution
- Directing activities concerning student admissions, provision of supplies and welfare services
- Taking minutes of the Governing Council meetings and ensure timely production and circulation
- Ensuring the timely implementation of Government and Governing Council resolutions
- Planning and chairing meetings of the institution
- Conducting any other duties related to the profession
